Friday, April 7, 2006 We will start our events off with a meet and greet Friday night at Fire Mountain, a buffet style restaurant located at 1323 N Expressway in Griffin Ga. Just ask anyone for directions or you call them at 770-233-3326. After dinner there will be a FBCA general membership meeting.
Saturday, April 8, 2006 8:00 a.m.: Registration Grab some coffee, breakfast pastries, a nametag, and start meeting everyone. Please make sure you have signed a release form.
9:00 a.m.: Breed seminar We have some great visuals this years. Don’t miss out!!!
12:00 p.m.: Lunch and socializing
After lunch we will do the Herding Instinct test. This year it will be done on Eanlo property. Stock still to be determined.
After herding, we will wrap up and put our dogs away for the day. NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED until all events are completed and the dogs are crated for the night. We will all relax and have a steak dinner and enjoy the day’s end.
Sunday, April 9, 2006 8:00 a.m.: Tracking Tracking is best done in the mornings when the air is cool.
Following tracking, we will begin Temperament Testing and Bitework with trainer Yohanny Gomez. Please be sure you have a strong, tightly fitting, flat buckle collar of leather or heavy nylon of at least one inch wide and a good leash to participate in the temperament test. A working harness is acceptable. Limited equipment will be available for purchase or borrowing. It is best to have equipment that fits your dog.
******************************************************** Note: The schedule is subject to change accommodating the weather but we will play even if it is in the rain! Children are welcome but please remember there will be many people and dogs on the grounds and children MUST be supervised by parents or be crated. We will not provide babysitting. Dogs must be leashed or crated at all times. Uncontrolled dogs or children will be asked to leave for the safety of all concerned.
